Share Your Travel Story with Your Social Networks

So you’ve finished writing your beautiful travel story, and now you’d like to share the experience so other travelers can follow in your footsteps. Below are some great ideas to spread the word, and get more people to see your story. Not only helping to inspire others to travel more, but also giving you a great chance to earn credit on any bookings which come from your stories.

Social buzz

Share your stories via Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Don’t forget to tag Yonderbound’s social pages so we can re-share them for you. Below are the relevant social handles for tagging.

On your blog

If you write a blog, why not do a little introductory post, and link it to your travel story on Yonderbound. As well as that, share the story on your blog’s social channels. Again, don’t forgot to tag Yonderbound’s social pages so we can re-share.

In social interest groups

Are you following travel or lifestyle groups on Facebook or LinkedIn for example? The followers of these groups would benefit from reading about your experience. Share your story on the group page, and get great feedback as the group members comment, like and share your story.

Social Bookmarking

Do you have an account on Stumble Upon, Digg, Diigo, Delicious, or any other social website like this? If so, share your story far and wide. The more you share, the more people will be able to read about your experience and get inspired by it. Click on the links above to go directly to the story submission pages for each of those websites.

Email

How long has it been since you emailed your old friends, or your relatives living far away. Now’s the time to get back in touch, and share your latest experience with them. To save you some time, we’ve created an email template below. Just copy and paste into an email, and off you go!
